SWeeDee is Louisiana's largest independent solid waste collection company.

For over 30 years SweeDee has been providing CLEAN, DEPENDABLE AND ECONOMICAL service and has been recognized as an industry leader. Among its many awards, SweeDee has been a finalist of the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Award for Business Leadership, a recipient of the Louisiana Small Business Award and a number of regional and local community awards.SweeDee has a fleet of 123 modern trucks and employees 335 trained individuals. Servicing both residential and commercial customers it collects waste from 134, 000 homes twice a week and 4,000 businesses in 16 parishes across Southeast Louisiana.

Currently, SweeDee collects residential waste in the communities of Lafourche Parish, Iberville Parish, Terrebonne Parish, Donaldsonville, Grand Isle, Port Allen, Pointe Coupee Parish, St. John the Baptist Parish, St. Mary Parish and Scott.

Commercial service includes the parishes of St. Mary, Lafourche, Terrebonne, Jefferson, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. James, Ascension, Assumption, Iberville, Pointe Coupee, East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Iberia.
With offices in Houma, Larose, St. Mary, Iberville and St. John, SweeDee prides itself in being part of the communities it serves and in doing a great job for the people who entrusted them to do the job.
