SweeDee has a fleet of 115 modern trucks and employees nearly 300 trained individuals. Servicing residential customers it collects waste from 134, 000 homes twice a week across Southeast Louisiana.

Currently, SWeeDee collects residential waste in the communities of Lafourche Parish, Iberville Parish, Terrebonne Parish, Donaldsonville,Grand Isle, Port Allen, Pointe Coupee Parish, St. John the Baptist Parish, St. Mary Parish and Scott.

Holiday Schedule
Normal collections are made once or twice weekly according to the collection schedule in your area.

Exceptions to this are holidays, which are as follows:
New Year's Day
Mardi Gras Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
Days When Severe Weather Conditions Prohibit Collections

There shall be no make-up collection in these instances, with the exception of
St. Mary Parish, St. John the Baptist Parish and the Cities of Donaldsonville, Berwick, Patterson, Franklin and Scott
Garbage collection will be made on the next regularly scheduled day for your location.
Please have garbage curbside the evening prior to your collection day.

Please take note that the list below contains items that are most mistakenly disposed of in residential garbage. We ask that you do NOT dispose of these items. If you are in possession of an item that is not listed below and are unaware of how to dispose of it, please contact us through the Contact Page.
